”Ysters” saw presenters Johnny Davids & Alwyn Hollenbach, travel to SA’s top Golf Estates, the likes of Fancourt, Val de Vie & Blair Atholl, to name a few. Most of which also happened to be protected and facilitated by Fidelity/ADT.
Over 13 episodes Johnny & Alwyn meet, have a round with, and generally get to know the residents, members & friends of these esteemed golf estates. Some of our guests included; Mr Gary Player, Ryk Neethling, Sim “Tiger” Tshabalala and Damien Willemse.

The 3rd season in the “Bewoners” Documentary Series.
This time we travelled to The Lowveld, to towns like Mbombela, Lydenburg, Waterval Boven & Kaapsehoop to name a few. And once again meet the most fascinating people from this region.

I always have, and always will be a lover of magazines and editorial production & design. The ultimate experience was landing my dream job as creative director for House & Leisure Magazine, published by the phenomenal Julia Raphaely at Associated Media, with Tiaan Nagel as my inspirational editor. It was here that we got to redesign and shape a new direction for one of South Africa’s most beloved titles, otherwise known as HL.

From the age of 25, art directing my first magazine title, I fell in love immediately, and I have produced, designed & art directed across fashion, decor, business, food & travel titles locally & internationally.

From set designs, location art direction, to interior styling, shoot production runs in my veins.

I have a passion for design & decor, and every now and then a very special home comes along to be captured in stills and film, and Jonkmanshof in the Klein Karoo, is just one of these homes.
Also, the oldest house in the quaint little village of Montagu, otherwise known as the Gateway to the Karoo.
Owner, chef, restauranteur, creative extraordinaire Jacques Erasmus’, magnificent home tells us the story of what lies between her 220 year old walls.
This feature was the lead story in House & Leisure’s Kitchen Issue, with an original Michael Chandler-commissioned tile mural of the kitchen at Jonkmanshof, as the cover.

From conceptualising with the owners of this magnificent estate, set in the breath-taking Helshoogte Pass, between Stellenbosch & Franschhoek, art directing & shooting with the talented photographer, Micky Hoyle, to putting the final layouts together, this coffee table book was a treat from start to finish.
